Advertise on CHPN

The Church Hill People’s News has two types of advertising available, banner advertisements and free classifieds. Submit a classified yourself or continue reading to find out about the banner advertisements.

We are advertising supported, at least to the degree that we hope to sell enough advertising to pay the costs of running the website. We have 2 types of banner advertising - the $50 kind, and the Richmond Ad Network kind.

The Richmond Ad Network adverts are part of a larger network across a bunch of sites in the city and is displayed prominently on the top left of each page. Contact the Richmond Ad Network folks to place an advert in their network (and tell’em that we sent you!). The $50 adverts run down the side of all of the pages of this site and you get a spot for a month. Keep reading to find out how to place a $50 ad.

We have space on the site for 8 banner advertisements on each page. We will accept no more than 12 advertisements at a time, so that each advertisement is displayed on average at least once every 1.5 page loads.

The banner space measures 50×180 pixels. You can provide your own artwork, or we can help design the advertisement for you at a slight extra cost. The advertisement can link to your website. If you do not have a website, we can put put up an information page for you as part of the advertisement.

In addition, advertisers get a spot with a link on each of our weekly email broadcasts.

Please contact us if you would like more information about advertising on Church Hill People’s News.
